As you heard from the vlog, that didn't turn out good. Jacky's cafe usually closes at 5 pm (at least that's what their hours online and on their door say) but I guess the day we came, they decided they wanted to close early, because they weren't there. As I try to figure out what to do after I let my team know what I had just figured out, my dad recommended a sea food restaurant right down the street. I felt bad going in ask last minute but the restaurant owner was extremely nice and let us film what ever we needed as long as we didn't mess with any costumers (which we never intended to do).
Filming for about 2 hours, it was starting to get dark and we were also worried cause it looked like it was about to rain. We got our last remaining shots as fast as we could and headed back to my dads car in the nick of time because it started pouring when we were driving home. On the way home we were discussing the footage and had realized we hand forgotten a shot. I believe since we got a lot of extra shots just in case it will be fine. After 3 hours of filming Dean and I got some beautiful shots and everyone seemed to have an incredible time last night so I was super happy. We were even talking about maybe expanding this into a short film in the summer (you never know). It took all day to process the footage but I've been looking over it and we really did fantastic even with the bumps in the road.
That's a Rapp on this post, till next time!
